Sustainable Tea Plantations and Processing: Our Commitment and Practice

As a leading company in the tea industry, we are committed to sustainable development in a number of areas, including tea plantation management, tea processing, tea farmer welfare, tea farmer care and tea plantation community relations.

With the growing global awareness of sustainable development, companies need to focus not only on their own economic benefits, but also incorporate social responsibility into their development strategies. As a company dedicated to creating green tea plantations, we always uphold the concept of “green, environmental protection, fairness”, through a series of measures to ensure the sustainable development of tea plantations, and create a better future for tea farmers.

Tea plantation management and ecological conservation

In the management of tea gardens, we have adopted a series of environmentally friendly measures, including the use of organic fertilizers in place of chemical fertilizers, reducing the use of pesticides and adopting biological control methods to control pests and diseases. In addition, we actively promote intercropping patterns and plant plants that are beneficial to soil health, such as leguminous plants, in order to improve soil fertility and maintain soil and water balance. These practices not only help protect the ecological environment, but also facilitate the production of healthier and more natural tea products.

Tea Farmers Welfare and Care Program

We believe that tea farmers are an integral part of the tea production chain and it is therefore incumbent upon us to safeguard their interests. To enhance the quality of life of tea farmers, we have formulated a number of welfare policies. These include the provision of fair trade prices to ensure that tea farmers are able to earn a reasonable return; the establishment of a health insurance system to alleviate the financial burden of tea farmers due to illness; and the provision of vocational training and technical guidance to help tea farmers improve their planting skills and management standards.

In addition to material support, we also focus on spiritual care. Regular tea culture activities are organized to enhance the tea farmers’ cultural identity and sense of belonging; a scholarship program is set up to encourage and support the children of tea farmers to receive better education and create more opportunities for them.

Community Relationship Building

Good community relations are vital to the long-term development of Tea Garden. We actively participate in community welfare activities, such as funding the construction of roads, schools and medical facilities, to improve community infrastructure conditions and promote local economic development. At the same time, we also invite the community to participate in the daily activities of the tea plantations, such as tea picking festivals, to enhance the interaction and understanding between the company and the community.

Through these efforts, we have not only realized the sustainable development of our business, but also brought tangible benefits to tea farmers and communities. In the future, we will continue to adhere to our original vision and explore new methods and techniques to contribute to the realization of broader social responsibility.
